What You'll Achieve.
Responsible for KPIs related to the maintenance department

Overnight Shift, wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (i. e beard/hairnet, ear plugs, frock, boots, etc), stand for extended periods of time, use hands/arms to push, pull, reach and occasionally lift above head, occasionally lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds and 50 pounds infrequently, visually inspect equipment and/or product, plant setting with wet/slippery floors, varying degrees of temperatures with an average temperature of 40 degrees in the production area, exposed to raw and/or cooked meat products and moving equipment, follow all Food Safety Quality requirements

Must Have
3+ years of equipment maintenance in manufacturing, hydraulics, pneumatics, leadership experience, Solid verbal and written communication, effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, employee motivational skills, Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Exceptional mechanical aptitude, facility maintenance skills, Ability to maintain and handle multiple functions/ tasks relating to the day-to-day operations, Proactive style that ensures the completion of projects despite obstacle, Actively seeks to utilize a “Collaborative Team Approach” in all situations, Continually strives to influence a positive company culture and leads by example, Ability to train
Nice to Have
Associates or Technical Degree in applicable field, Experience in meat processing and packaging plant, Wastewater, water treatment, refrigeration, boiler, and/or engine/machine room experience, Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) and Scheduling Software
What You'll Do.
oversees and leads the daily installation
repair and maintenance of our facility
property and equipment
provides leadership over the maintenance technician workforce in repairing
and installing all equipment in the facility
Directs and leads a team of maintenance technicians
training and development and performance feedback
Collaborates with maintenance planner and production leaders to develop and implement maintenance schedules
ensuring timely and effective execution of task by Maintenance team
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures including: LOTO
and general safety practices
Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Performance Management: Responsible for developing and maintaining a high-level Team Member morale and dedication to serving customers
Responsible for coaching
and development of Team Members
Give performance feedback as appropriate in a consistent and timely manner
and approve TM timecards through Jack Link’s timekeeping tool to ensure Team Members are paid correctly for each pay-period
Responsible for KPIs related to the maintenance department
Identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects
manage the staffing levels to appropriates support a 24/7 manufacturing facility
which includes participation in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
Monitoring all processes for optimal performance and reacting to deficiencies
Troubleshooting abnormal conditional of all equipment in the facility
Participation in the development of SOPs and other training and instructional documentation
