**_Your Opportunity as a (Technical) Maintenance Supervisor_** In this role you will supervise, lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Oversee the upkeep of existing equipment and the installation of new equipment. Partner with plant operations to plan and direct maintenance and facility activities with a focus on quality, productivity, downtime reduction, and defect prevention **Location:** 1969 Victory Drive Columbus, GA (Hostess Manufacturing Plant) **Work Arrangements:** 100% on-site, PM 10-Hour shift. Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) and flow to the work as needed **In this Role You Will:** * Lead maintenance in a manner that promotes safety while abiding by LOTO & GMP policies and procedures * Provide problem solving expertise and root cause analysis to Operations * Responsible for instilling Smucker's Basic Beliefs and Our Culture in Action * Ability to lead and mentor a group of hourly employees to promote JMS culture while enhancing their skillset in all areas of maintenance, building and grounds and facility upkeep related tasks * Develop and execute predictive and preventative PM programs * Direct and deploy technical resources to repair or maintain equipment * Build mastery level skills in advanced technicians, advanced technical skills in equipment owners, and basic technical and trouble-shooting skills in all technicians * Ensure technical documentation, PMs, and spares for department equipment and systems are identified and in place * Create necessary PMs and SOPs to properly maintain equipment and enable resources to execute work * Provide technical expertise and guidance to technical resources within a department * Collaborate with Area Leaders, Process Engineers, and Coordinators in the development of work plans that maximize sanitation and startup effectiveness and efficiency *
