What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent with technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field, Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance with demonstrated leadership of multi-trade teams, Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical power systems, building automation, and life safety equipment, understanding of OSHA, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements for facility operations, Proven experience managing vendor contracts and coordinating with external contractors and service providers, Excellent communication skills with ability to interface effectively with building occupants and senior management, Valid driver's license and ability to provide coverage across multiple shifts and weekends as needed
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or related technical field, Experience with CMMS systems and facility management software platforms, Knowledge of ISO compliance requirements and environmental management systems, Fleet management experience including mobile equipment maintenance and inventory control, Experience in industrial or manufacturing facility environments with union labor groups, Professional certifications in facilities management (CFM, FMP) or related technical areas, Background in energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programs
