Experience in property management maintenance, Experience in other building maintenance, Experience in related trade, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of power tools, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of user-moved aids, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of mechanical equipment, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of measuring devices, Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems, Proficiency in customer service, Proficiency in interpersonal communication skills, Ability to read, Ability to write, Ability to communicate effectively, Proficiency in internet, Proficiency in word processing, Proficiency in spreadsheet, Proficiency in database management programs, Mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions

What You'll Do.
Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work
Ensure buildings meet company standards
Complete work orders for residents
Perform routine upkeep on community
Diagnose and repair defects or problems
Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments
Inspect work performed by others
Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts
Order supplies and tools
Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures
Support cost-cutting programs
Fix rather than replace parts
Conduct safety meetings
Ensure MSDS sheets are current
Keep up to date on OSHA requirements
Demonstrate customer service skills
Treat residents and others with respect
Answer questions from team and residents
Respond sensitively to complaints
Assign work orders with efficiency and urgency
