What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-2 Years of Related Experience, High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training, Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade, Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices, Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems, Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills, Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs, Mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions

What You'll Do.
Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work
and common areas meet
Assist and complete work orders generated from resident
Make repairs in accordance with established policies
Oversee and complete the “make-ready” process
Inspect vacant apartment homes for pre-move-out
Create a “punch” list of maintenance work needed
Schedule vendors and contractors
Obtain needed supplies and materials
Complete all maintenance tasks
Inspect completed work
Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of community
Inspect work performed by other service team members
Develop corrective action plans
Inspect work performed by contractors
materials and services meet quality standards
Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance
Order supplies and tools within budgetary guidelines
Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures
Assist Community Manager in developing the budget
Support cost-cutting and expense control programs
Conduct regularly scheduled Greystar safety meetings
Ensure all MSDS sheets are current and readily
Keep up to date on all OSHA and
Demonstrate customer services skills
Treat residents and others with respect
Answer questions from team and residents
Respond sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
Assign work orders with efficiency and urgency
