What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of general Maintenance experience, High school diploma/GED, Deep knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building automation systems, Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and risk management, Proven ability to manage a team, schedule staff, train employees, and manage vendors, diagnostic skills for diagnosing and repairing equipment, Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office, experience with budgeting, Ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in varied environmental conditions
Nice to Have
vocational training, technical certificates, an associate/bachelor’s degree in facility management or industrial technology, at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position
What You'll Do.
Directly supervise Maintenance personnel and provide day-to-day leadership for the Maintenance department
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies
and federal regulations
and develop employees
and direct monitor address employee and administer corrective action as necessary
and delegate Maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted production
adherence to quality standards
and control of manufacturing costs
Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using current technologies
Ensure accurate maintenance records
including asset repair history and preventive maintenance schedules
Communicate equipment status
maintenance priorities
and project progress with supervisors
and engineering teams
Develop and execute aggressive yet achievable project schedules and realistic cost estimates in support of business requirements
Participate in and support initiatives related to cost reduction
and operational efficiency
Recommend changes to working conditions
and equipment utilization to improve productivity and effectiveness
Ensure compliance with OSHA
and all applicable safety programs and procedures
Enforce compliance with applicable bargaining unit agreements within assigned areas of responsibility
Promote a culture of safety
and continuous improvement throughout the Maintenance team
Support Manufacturing
and Planning teams with accurate data for production scheduling
and material availability
Quality & Continuous Improvement teams to ensure data supports regulatory and compliance requirements
Identify opportunities to improve data workflows
and increase automation
digital manufacturing
and operational excellence initiatives
Coordinate and participate in administrative and technical programs
including training initiatives and communication efforts
Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives

Communicate equipment status, maintenance priorities, and project progress with supervisors, managers, and engineering teams; Support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning teams with accurate data for production scheduling, capacity planning, and material availability; Collaborate with EHS, HR, Engineering, Quality & Continuous Improvement teams to ensure data supports regulatory and compliance requirements; Collaboration with production floor personnel

Communicate equipment status, maintenance priorities, and project progress with supervisors, managers, and engineering teams; training initiatives and communication efforts
