What You'll Do.

Understand and apply general procedures related to discharge control and containment

including during terminal expansion and modification projects

Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager

Serve as acting Maintenance Manager during absences

and maintain accurate employee timesheets

and time-off requests within Workday

Full Job Description

The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day operations of our Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance activities, managing maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory safety standards and maintaining operational readiness of equipment and systems. **Responsibilities** * Coordinate, schedule, and oversee day-to-day preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs. * Supervise mechanical construction and installation work carried out by maintenance personnel. * Manage and direct all assigned maintenance personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards. * Possess working knowledge of key industrial maintenance disciplines, including rigging, welding, pipefitting, ironwork, millwrighting, and machining. * Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations and best practices. * Operate and oversee the use of welding equipment, cranes, manlifts, forklifts, and other heavy construction equipment. * Maintain training documentation and manage the Maintenance Department's training syllabus. * Remain proficient in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe permit writing practices. * Understand and apply general procedures related to discharge control and containment, including during terminal expansion and modification projects. * Maintain valid welding certification and OSHA 30-hour safety certification. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager. * Serve as acting Maintenance Manager during absences. * Review, approve, and maintain accurate employee timesheets, scheduling, and time-off requests within Workday. * Has the authority to hire, discipline, and terminate employees, or to make recommendations regarding such actions that are given significant consideration. * The primary duty of this role is the performance of executive, administrative, office and/or non-manual work that directly relate
