Own tools needed for performance of maintenance functions, Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (up to 40’), in confined spaces, frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch, twist and stretch and stand for prolonged periods of time, occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and climb stairs, regularly stand and walk, talk and listen and use a computer, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock, occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration, noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, Must be willing to further education to improve skillset as required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five years minimum experience in area of machine maintenance and repair and electrical (heavy machine repair of presses), Must be able to obtain man-lift and hi-lo permit, Must be able to obtain Confined Space certification, Must possess valid driver’s license

What You'll Do.
and maintenance of CNC’s
presses and equipment throughout plants including electrical repair and PLC troubleshooting
Heavy machine repair of presses
Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment
Install new equipment as required based on blueprints and layout schematics
Rebuild and/or refurbish equipment including CNC’s
feed systems and transfers
Responsible for the safety
cleanliness and orderliness of the Maintenance Department and at machines/equipment when performing work
Support and participate in division and department improvement initiatives through Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program
and sharing of knowledge
and/or best practices with co-workers
Assist the organization in implementation of MAFACT
standardized work and continuous improvement activities
Complete all required paperwork and computer tasks that are required for the position
Take initiative to always maintain and improve upon or facilitate overall safety by being proactive as a service provider to the people
Perform various 5S to equipment as required by MAFACT standards
attend annual training
Active participation in MAFACT Teams and activities as required
Participates in continuous improvement activities
submits Cost saving improvement suggestions
Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to including IATF16949
and Employee Handbook
Follows MIOSHA and MPTSH safety regulations and policies
including wearing required P. P. E. (Personal Protective Equipment)
Reports unsafe conditions immediately to Manager/Supervisor/Leader
