mechanical troubleshooting skills, Knowledge of vacuum systems, cryogenics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and basic programmable controllers and drive systems, Ability to use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment, Ability to obtain forklift and other required equipment certifications, Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting methods, and vacuum leak‑checking techniques, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and crawling, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and safely around moving machinery, Ability to work onsite at the Rancho Cordova location
Nice to Have
technical degree or equivalent experience, experience with industrial, laboratory, or semiconductor vacuum systems
What You'll Do.
and repairing advanced vacuum systems as well as associated facility and production equipment
and retrofit machinery to support efficient and safe production operations
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving vacuum systems
and basic electronic components
and repair rough and high‑vacuum diagnose performance perform helium leak and install and service vacuum components
Interpret schematics and technical documentation and interface with electrical
and pneumatic control systems
Support equipment startups
and system modifications
Assist with the installation
and commissioning of new equipment and systems
Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and adhere to the preventive maintenance program
Perform light facility repairs
including basic plumbing and minor structural work
Safely operate hand tools
Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures
and safe work environment

Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with engineering teams and external vendors; work independently and collaboratively
