Coordinate with Maintenance and Reliability

Prioritize parts availability

Partner with Maintenance Planner

Ensure parts are kitted

Support shutdown and outage planning

Eliminate delays in maintenance execution

Source and procure maintenance parts

Manage vendor relationships

Negotiate pricing and contracts

Develop alternate sourcing strategies

Lead day-to-day storeroom operations

Ensure high inventory accuracy

and duplicate inventory

Manage and track maintenance materials spending

Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities

Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of parts data

Standardize naming conventions

Maintain equipment bills of materials

Use data to forecast demand

Partner with Reliability Engineering

Support failure analysis

Position Summary The Maintenance Materials Manager is responsible for the strategy, control, and execution of all maintenance spare parts, MRO inventory, and materials management processes supporting a highly automated, 24/7 food manufacturing facility. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, optimal inventory levels, and cost control by delivering the right parts, at the right time, at the right cost—while supporting a multi-million-dollar repairs and maintenance (R&M) budget.
