Full Job Description
## RESPONSIBILITIES ● Leadership & Oversight: Provide direct management and daily oversight of theVNY-based maintenance team, including technicians, controllers, planners, and inventorystaff.● Operational Readiness: Ensure the fleet (ERJ 135, Legacy 600, GIV-SP) is maintained tothe highest safety and reliability standards to meet Aero’s premium service schedule.● Succession & Support: Act as the DOM’s primary Deputy, providing onsite support andmanagement to the maintenance team.● Process Management: Streamline maintenance planning and parts inventory processesto maximize aircraft availability.● Culture of Safety: Foster a culture of accountability and transparency, ensuring all teammembers adhere to safety-sensitive protocols. ## REQUIREMENTS ● Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required and must be free of suspensions● Part 135 Expertise: Extensive experience in Part 135 maintenance operations isrequired.● Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on and management experience with Gulfstreamairframes (specifically G-IV series) and Embraer 135/Legacy platforms.● Management Experience: Significant experience in team leadership and AOCmanagement within a high-tempo aviation environment.● Regulatory Knowledge: Strong background in FAA interactions, including audits,conformity, and regulatory reporting.● Certification: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (IA preferred).● Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teamsand report to executive leadership.● Availability: Ability to work varying hours and remain on-call as needed to support adynamic Part 135 operation.● Compliance: Must fulfill TSA criminal background checks (CHRC) and satisfy DOT drugtesting requirements.● Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
