What You'll Do.
Lead multi-site team of maintenance associates
Supervise Area Maintenance Managers
Ensure a safe working environment
Support the Operations team
Develop and design innovative solutions
Manage outside contractors
Be on call for emergencies
Handle multiple projects and daily activities
Manage to and meet deadlines
Develop & track plans
Work with local site Safety department leadership
Implement and audit safety programs
Ensure all safety programs and procedures are followed
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs
Maintain good working relationships with operations leadership
Facilitate technical and safety training
Develop professional development of departmental facilities associates
Mentor all maintenance associates
Provide direction to associates
Develop Maintenance department business plans
Provide guidance and direction for plan implementation
Work with site Finance team
set and track budgets
Participate in efficiency improvement Kaizen activities
Develop capital spending plans
Facilitate cross-functional project planning
Perform cost analysis
Promote excellent housekeeping
Participate in network Maintenance calls
Participate in Maintenance Manager conferences
Provide associates with written performance appraisals
Provide discipline and up to termination
