Must Have
10 years hands-on experience performing maintenance on commercial building systems, Active trade license/certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related building systems trade, Experience with Building Automation systems, Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and contractor oversight, Proven ability to interface professionally with clients and represent facility operations, communication skills with ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences, Self-directed work style with ability to operate independently and prioritize competing demands, Proven track record of maintaining building systems to high operational standards
Nice to Have
Experience working on a pharmaceutical, life science, lab commercial or manufacturing building.
What You'll Do.
Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on all building systems
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on building infrastructure
Monitor equipment operation
and diagnose/repair problems
Work with tools daily to maintain
and troubleshoot building systems
Serve as primary liaison between JLL and client for all facility operations
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance building performance
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers
Develop and maintain qualified vendor network for specialized services
Oversee contractor activities including scope verification
Coordinate vendor schedules to minimize building disruption
Ensure vendor compliance with building policies
Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy
Identify safety hazards and implement remediation efforts
Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws
Ensure adequate inventory of tools
Recommend and estimate facilities repairs and improvements
Support after-hours building activities and emergency calls
