Served a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship (trade papers required), Demonstrate problem-solving skills, Read and understand technical drawings and manuals, Ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative, Balance varying workloads and priorities to meet business needs in a fast paced and diverse environment, Computer literate, Good verbal and written communication skills, Recent mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment, Understanding of mechanical systems
What You'll Do.
Assist with planned and reactive maintenance
Prioritise reactive maintenance activities
Carry out planned maintenance activities
Fault find and diagnose faults
Fault finding to component level
Assist in planning project works
Relocate plant and equipment
Use site powered vehicles
Adhere to safe systems of work
Provide on the job training
Order breakdown parts or spares
Work with contractors and suppliers
Provide temporary Lead Mechanic cover
Carry out statutory inspections

Work with contractors and suppliers; Provide on the job training and guidance to develop F&M Apprentice mechanics

Good verbal and written communication skills
