Trouble-shoot mechanical problems using detailed schematics and blueprints
able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors, Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout), Must be able to comply with OSHA standards, Must be able to work with other devices that are very fragile and require precise attention, willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, background checks
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
basic mechanical or maintenance skills, knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics & plumbing, 1 year or more experience in welding and industrial maintenance, able to read & understand assignments, able to communicate orally & in writing, able to hear/respond to two-way radio, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors, basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment, Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout), Must be able to comply with OSHA standards, Must have at least 6 months of continuous employment within the last 2 years, 1 year of industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
Nice to Have
May monitor boiler and perform chemical test on boiler, May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems, Must be certified to operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts, Willing to further education by outside training, company testing program & vendor training, good verbal and written communication skills, good oral communication skills to discuss issues with the Maintenance Supervisor, Needs to be able to understand information contained in Maintenance manuals
What You'll Do.
general maintenance throughout the plant
Monitors the equipment during production
makes any necessary repairs or adjustments
Documents any corrections required
Rebuilds equipment as required
Assists with installation of new equipment
Assists with maintenance throughout the entire facility as required
and clean various plant equipment
Monitor equipment and computer boards
Trouble-shoot mechanical problems
May monitor boiler and perform chemical test on boiler
Performs duties such as welding
minor electrical repair
replacement of motors

Work very closely with other maintenance personnel in order to receive and pass along information concerning the job
