Trouble-shoot mechanical problems using detailed schematics and blueprints
Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout), Must be able to comply with OSHA standards, Must be able to work with other devices that are very fragile and require precise attention, willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
basic mechanical or maintenance skills, knowledge in areas of welding, knowledge in areas of hydraulics, knowledge in areas of basic electricity, knowledge in areas of power transmission, knowledge in areas of pneumatics, knowledge in areas of plumbing, 1 year or more experience in welding, 1 year or more experience in industrial maintenance, able to read & understand assignments, able to communicate orally & in writing, able to hear/respond to two-way radio, able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, able to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors, basic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment, certified to operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts, at least 6 months of continuous employment within the last 2 years, 1 year of industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
Nice to Have
May monitor boiler and perform chemical test on boiler, May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems, Willing to further education by outside training, company testing program & vendor training
What You'll Do.
Maintain and promote safety culture
Perform various positions as assigned
General maintenance throughout the plant
Monitors equipment during production
Makes necessary repairs or adjustments
Documents any corrections required
Rebuilds equipment as required
Assists with installation of new equipment
Assists with maintenance throughout facility
Monitor equipment and computer boards
Trouble-shoot mechanical problems
Work other shifts when necessary
Understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
Comply with OSHA standards
Work closely with other maintenance personnel
Work with other fragile devices
Perform duties such as welding
Perform duties such as cutting
Perform duties such as minor electrical repair
Perform duties such as removing motors
Perform duties such as replacing motors
Perform duties such as replacing motor shafts
Perform duties such as replacing couplings
Perform duties such as replacing pumps
Perform duties such as replacing augers
Perform duties such as replacing water pipes
Perform duties such as replacing steam pipes
Perform duties such as replacing lines
Perform duties such as replacing systems
Perform chemical test on boiler
Read drawings & schematics
Read schematics of hydraulic systems
Read schematics of basic electrical systems
Operate various pieces of gas/hydraulic motors/lifts
Other duties as assigned

Work very closely with other maintenance personnel in order to receive and pass along information concerning the job
