Full Job Description
In a Nutshell As a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll work in our soon to open Fulfilment Center in Berlin/Brandenburg (Falkensee) with the latest intralogistics systems from top brands like Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. You’ll be responsible for keeping our Material Handling Equipment running at peak performance, solving malfunctions independently, and implementing improvements. Your insight and initiative are valued, and you’ll coach junior colleagues to elevate the team, ensuring tens of thousands of orders reach families on time every day. During your shift, you take full responsibility for the service and maintenance of our systems. The tricks of the trade Troubleshooting malfunctions: You detect and resolve both electrical and mechanical issues in technical systems, working closely with our operational supervisors. Collaboration with suppliers: For complex problems, you work directly with machine suppliers to find solutions. Analysis and improvement: You analyze malfunctions, prevent recurrence, and implement structural improvements. Preventive maintenance: You perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure maximum system availability. About you You hold a Ausbildung and/or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, mechatronics, automation, etc.) You have 4+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance role You have hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera systems You are interested in working with software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA tools You have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating in a team At the same time, you are independent, take initiative, and solve problems in a goal-oriented way You're fluent in English and/or German What you can look forward to Smart Commute: Choose the way you move.
