What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare or institutional setting with a technical or, Minimum 4 years of healthcare maintenance experience and a Senior MECH certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of, Minimum 8 years of healthcare or institutional maintenance experience., working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems., Familiarity with regulatory codes (e.g. , NFPA, Joint Commission, OSHA)., Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications., organizational and communication skills., Valid driver’s license required.
What You'll Do.
Operate and monitor critical utility systems
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot and resolve complex building system failures
Provide technical support during regulatory surveys
Prepare and maintain documentation and reports
Use CMMS to log maintenance activities
Requisition and manage spare parts
Serve as point of contact for vendor service
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of codes
Respond to and lead resolution efforts for alarms
Participate in long-range planning for infrastructure upgrades
Serve as a technical lead on projects
Assist with onboarding and training junior team members
