What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. electrical knowledge preferred. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management, scheduling, and reporting. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics and other instructions. Ability to perform physically demanding work in non-climate controlled environment. Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork required.

Nice to Have

2+ years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or coordination role preferred. Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, and industrial control systems preferred. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) and experience preferred.

What You'll Do.

Administer and maintain the CMMS, asset records, equipment hierarchy, PM task plans, work order workflows, parts inventory, user accounts and permissions, and data standards.

Establish and enforce data integrity standards.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking PM compliance, work order status, equipment uptime, backlog, and reliability metrics.

Develop, implement, and continuously refine the preventive maintenance program.

Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activity.

Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Establish reliability-centered maintenance practices and track key performance indicators.

Manage parts and supplies inventory.

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors.

Develop SOPs, train maintenance staff on CMMS use, and drive system adoption.

POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the facility’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and leads the development of a structured, data-driven preventive maintenance and reliability program. This role is responsible for asset data architecture, PM strategy and scheduling, work order workflows, parts inventory management, and maintenance analytics. Partners with maintenance, production, and engineering to improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and bring discipline, accuracy, and accountability to maintenance operations.
