What You'll Achieve.
Ensure mechanical delays are handled in a safe and expeditious manner; Assure all deferrals are accomplished in accordance with company manuals and Federal Aviation regulations; Continually reviews the MEL for all fleet types

Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Make at least one maintenance station visit per year, May require riding in the flight deck jump seat, Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high stressed control center environment, Physical ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, Use hands and fingers to operate various tools, May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs, May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation, Regular attendance is a requirement, Exposure to extreme noise, temperature, wind, and light fluctuations, Ability to work in a confined area, Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time, Ability to wear personal protective gear, Some travel may be a requirement, Report to work during declared national and state emergencies unless prohibited by order

Must Have
Authorized to work in the US, Pass a Criminal Background Check, Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Certification, Minimum five (5) years of aircraft maintenance/technical operations industry experience, Previous line leadership experience required, Minimum two (2) years of maintenance control experience in at least one of the following, Airbus 319/320 and Boeing 737 Next Gen/Max general family systems, avionics, and power plant experience required, Valid/Unexpired Passport Book, Valid/Unexpired Driver's License, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Computer literate, Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high stressed control center environment, Ability to effectively make quick but solid decisions

What You'll Do.
Manage mechanical irregularities
Coordinate scheduled workload for maintenance bases
Expedite aircraft return to service
Control and track deferred maintenance items
Authorize maintenance discrepancies for deferral
Communicate DMI status
Ensure deferrals comply with manuals and regulations
Complete and distribute applicable forms
Prioritize work requiring immediate action
Track parts and equipment in transit
Request parts for aircraft return to service
Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Manage maintenance at non-Allegiant staffed bases
Communicate maintenance requirements to providers
Manage maintenance performed by providers
Interact with live flights via ARINC
Update AOS board for aircraft away from base
Monitor and control Restricted Aircraft section
Interact with Engineering
Develop Return to Service work scopes
Interact with Technical Services
Troubleshoot chronic system issues
Administer EGT Excursion Policy Program
Review MEL for all fleet types
Make recommendations for process improvement
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work with Maintenance, Mx Planning and Operations Control Center (OCC); Coordinate with Operations Control Center, and Maintenance; Communicate maintenance requirements to out station maintenance providers; Interact with flight crew; Coordinate decisions with OCC Manager; Interact with Engineering and Contract Engineering companies; Interact with Technical Services

## Description Summary The Maintenance Controller is responsible for the Manager of Maintenance Control for managing mechanical irregularities. Maintenance Control (MC) will work with Maintenance, Mx Planning and Operations Control Center (OCC) to coordinate the scheduled workload for all maintenance bases. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: High School Diploma/GED Education Details: Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management or work experience equivalency. Certification: Yes Certification Details: Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Certification. Years of Experience: •Minimum five (5) years of aircraft maintenance/technical operations industry experience, previous line leadership experience required. •Minimum two (2) years of maintenance control experience in at least one of the following, Airbus 319/320 and Boeing 737 Next Gen/Max general family systems, avionics, and power plant experience required.
