What You'll Do.
Undertake general property maintenance & repairs throughout our properties including carpentry
decoration with general repairs to doors
windows & locking systems.
Building of minor timber structures like sheds
crates & kennels etc.
Installation & repairs gutters and drainpipe systems.
General repairs of basic plumbing.
Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
Assist other staff members as required.
Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on – call assistance.
Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
Liaise regularly with colleagues
supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client.
Adhere to all company policies & procedures
particularly to health & safety.
Any other duties as and when required by your line manager.

Maintenance Assistant (Permanent) LDN PB **Key Responsibilities:** * Undertake general property maintenance & repairs throughout our properties including carpentry, tiling, decoration with general repairs to doors, windows & locking systems. * Building of minor timber structures like sheds, crates & kennels etc. * Installation & repairs gutters and drainpipe systems. * General repairs of basic plumbing. * Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers. * Assist other staff members as required. * Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on – call assistance. * Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard. * Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client. * Shift patterns & on call rota as & when required. * Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety. * Any other duties as and when required by your line manager. **Knowledge and Skills:** * Ability to demonstrate good use of basic hand tools. * Knowledge of a building trade i.e., carpentry, door & window locks, decorating, plastering & tiling. * Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations. * Basic knowledge of current Building Regulations. * A thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards. * A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. * Full clean UK driving licence. * Significant proven experience. * Be able to follow specific instructions.
