What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years grounds or porter experience, Knowledge of property maintenance equipment, Ability to perform minor maintenance, Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements, High School Diploma or equivalent
What You'll Do.
Provide customer service
Deliver maintenance service
Complete assigned work orders
Diagnose defects or problems
Complete make-ready process
Prepare vacant apartment homes
Complete pre-move-out inspection
Schedule vendors and contractors
Obtain needed supplies and materials
Complete maintenance tasks
Inspect completed work
Maintain common areas
Pick up trash and debris
Pressure-wash breezeways and pool areas
Perform general cleaning
Paint curbs and signage
Support cost-cutting programs
Fix rather than replace parts
Avoid waste of materials
Practice correct tool use
Conduct property inspections
Identify safety concerns
Identify risk management concerns
Keep property in good repair
Communicate property needs to management
Follow procedures for accessing materials
Notify supervisor of re-ordering needs
