As a Mainframe Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and modernize core data discovery and scanning capabilities across enterprise systems. You will focus on a Java-based mainframe agent running on IBM z/OS, enabling scalable access to critical mainframe data sources while supporting the modernization of legacy implementations. Working within a broader Java engineering team, you will contribute to cross-platform solutions, share mainframe expertise, and help evolve modern platform capabilities and architecture. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design, develop, and maintain a Java-based agent running on IBM z/OS systems. Build capabilities to scan and interact with mainframe technologies, including VSAM, QSAM, IMS, DB2, flat files, and system-level resources. Design, implement, and support scalable software solutions from development through production operations. Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.
