This role ensures platform stability, security, and performance, enabling critical business applications to run seamlessly. You will lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and drive automation initiatives to optimize operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor and maintain platform health and availability across z/OS, z/VM, and Linux on Z. * Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for P1/P2 events. * Plan and execute patching/compliance cycles, including validation and rollback strategies. * Perform performance and capacity analysis using SMF/RMF; recommend tuning actions. * Automate routine tasks using JCL, REXX, and Linux shell scripting; enhance runbooks and self-healing capabilities. * Coordinate ITIL-based change records, maintenance windows, and stakeholder communications. * Ensure security hygiene (RACF basics), vulnerability remediation, and compliance with configuration baselines. * Document standard operating procedures and contribute to knowledge of articles and post-incident reviews. **Your Future at Kyndryl** Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to growing your career.
