What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, 6–10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience, experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application development, Direct hands-on mainframe experience is required, Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
Nice to Have
10+ years of diverse IT experience, financial services experience is a plus, z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCD, SMP/E and maintenance routines, JCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSO, Installation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV software, ITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change Management, Experience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms

Lead mainframe software lifecycle management
Manage z/OS mainframe environments
Provide technical leadership
Oversee security mechanisms
Drive modernization of mainframe services
Drive automation of mainframe services
Drive continuous improvement of mainframe services
Partner with data center services
Partner with production services
Partner with application development teams
Develop technical staff
Guide cross-functional efforts
Guide complex programs
