Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field * 6–10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience * 10+ years of diverse IT experience preferred; financial services experience is a plus * Strong experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application development * Direct hands-on mainframe experience is required * Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects * Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders * Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem?solving capabilities Technical Skills (Preferred) * z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCD * SMP/E and maintenance routines * JCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSO * Installation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV software * ITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change Management Experience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms .
