What They're Looking For.
Must Have
C++ Programming Expertise, Hands-on experience in modern C++ with deep understanding of object-oriented design, memory management, STL, and performance optimization in banking or financial services domain, Advanced Multithreading & Concurrency - Proven experience designing and implementing thread-safe, high-performance applications, Modern C++ & STL Proficiency - Expert level knowledge of Standard Template Library (containers, algorithms, iterators) and modern C++ features including smart pointers, move semantics, lambda expressions, Demonstrated experience developing applications for trading systems, payment processing, or core banking platforms with understanding of financial protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
Nice to Have
Banking Domain Experience candidate preferred, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple business and IT environments globally, Prior experience working in investment banking or financial services (nice to have), Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability, Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions
