Nice to Have
4+ years of machining work experience preferred, Vocational or technical training in machining or two (2) years of equivalent experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Download and interpret engineering blueprints
Set up and operate manual and CNC machines
Produce precision parts
Assist manufacturing operators
Ensure proper setup of CNC programs
Collaborate with process technician to program CNC mills or lathes
Issue materials and enter work order information
Perform manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance
Verify product visually
Take corrective action when necessary
Ensure product consistency
Escalate quality issues
Finalize required paperwork
Maintain attribute/variable charts
Integrate on key business processes
Promote continuous improvement tools
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform duties in a safe manner
Observe approved safety procedures
Communicate potential hazards
Complete miscellaneous tasks
