**Job Title:** Machinist II **Job Description:** **Machinist II – 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3:15pm - 1:15am)** Entegris is currently seeking a **Machinist II** for our Decatur, TX facility. In this role, you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials. **What You’ll Do:** * Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions. * Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties). * Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment. * Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators. * Complete machining tasks within a customer job. * Routinely perform initial setup on new parts. * Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products. * May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties. **What We Seek:** * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings. * Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods. * Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality. * Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Work any shift as required to meet business needs. * Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus. * Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws. **Physical Requirements:** * Completion of pre-employment physical required. * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed. * Capability to ascend and des
