What They're Looking For.
Must Have
0–1 year of CNC machining experience or completion of a technical/trade school program, Basic knowledge of CNC mills and/or lathes, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and understand basic GD&T, Familiarity with cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders, Experience using precision measuring instruments, Basic understanding of G-code and CNC controls, attention to detail and willingness to learn, Ability to stand for long periods and able to lift weights up to 15 kilograms, Dependable and able to work effectively in a team environment, 0–1 year of press brake experience or completion of a technical/trade school program, Basic knowledge of bending process, Familiarity with bending tools, Technical diploma, or recent graduate of a machining, CNC, or manufacturing program, Basic understanding of CNC machining and cutting tool concepts, Ability to read basic engineering drawing and tool lists, Familiarity with common cutting tools (end mills, drills, inserts), Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment, Able to lift weights up to 15 kilograms.
Nice to Have
Experience with tool presetters or probing systems, Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, Exposure to tool crib operations or tooling setup, Experience in a production or job shop environment, Experience in a production or job shop environment, Experience with tool presetters or measuring equipment, Familiarity with CAD/CAM or CNC programming fundamentals
What You'll Do.
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) under supervision
and materials according to setup sheets
and minor adjustments as instructed
Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers
Read and interpret engineering drawing
and work instructions
Identify and report tooling
Load materials and monitor machine cycles as instructed
and issue cutting tools
and inserts for CNC operators
Assemble tool setups according to setup sheets and tool lists
Inspect cutting tools for wear or damage and replace inserts as needed
Maintain tool inventory and ensure proper storage and organization
Set up and operate Laser and/or Press Brake machines under supervision
and materials according to drawing requirements
Track tool usage and report shortages or tooling issues
and preset tools (manual or automated presetter
Work closely with CNC operators and supervisors to ensure tooling readiness
and safety procedures
Assist with CNC machine setup and operation under supervision
Perform basic measurements and part inspections using calipers
Read and follow engineering drawing
and work instructions

Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers and maintenance technicians, to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production processes.; Work closely with CNC operators and supervisors to ensure tooling readiness; Able to work effectively in a team environment

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
