Full Job Description
**Job Title:** Machinist I **Job Description:** Entegris is currently seeking a **Machinist** to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to **producing components used in our Ultra High Purity Systems**. This position will **fabricate various stainless-steel components per engineering specifications** , this may include **cutting, facing, and de-burring**. These tasks will be accomplished by **using vertical bandsaws, CNC cold cut saws, porta band saws, roto bur tools, files, tube facing tools and wash tanks**. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. **What You’ll Do:** * Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision. * Use SAP to print drawings and tube cut lists. * Cut, prepare, and bend tubes per drawings. * Ability to follow verbal instructions. * Follow engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. * Performs routine, repetitive operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. * Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety). * Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments. * Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others. * Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. * Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards. * Work with a team as well as independently when needed. * Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees. * Any other duties as assigned. **What We Seek:** * High School Diploma or GED. * 0-2 years’ experience in cutting de-burring and cleaning tubing and fittings. * Ability to learn to navigate through our ERP system to find, drawings and instructions. * Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily. * Ability to b
