**APPRENTICE – MACHINIST – RESUME REQUIRED** **Carpenter Technology Corporation** is a leading producer and distributor of premium specialty alloys, including titanium alloys, nickel and cobalt based superalloys, stainless steels, alloy steels and tool steels. Carpenter Technology’s high-performance materials and advanced process solutions are an integral part of critical applications used within the aerospace, transportation, medical and energy markets, among other markets. Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter Technology’s wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing. **PRIMARY DUTIES:** To learn the machinist maintenance craft by successfully participating in an apprentice program consisting of a combination of on–the-job training and related classroom instruction. **REQUIREMENTS:** * A resume outlining qualifications and experience must be submitted to be considered for this position. * The program involves on-the-job training + classroom study (outside of regularly scheduled work hours, tuition paid by Carpenter Technology). * Applicants must have earned a High School diploma or equivalent. * Machinist schooling and/or experience preferred * Applicants must be willing to upgrade their knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced. * Qualified candidates must attend **_non-compensated_ **related classroom training when scheduled after normal working hours. * Successful candidates selected for this program must read, agree to, and sign an Apprenticeship agreement. * Candidates must maintain minimum standards of on-the-job progress and academic standing in order to remain in the Program. * Selection of qualified candidates for this Program **_will not_** be based on seniority. **INSTRUCTIONS:** Selection criteria will apply, which will include an interview.
