Clow is looking for motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as Machinist Apprentices. In this hands-on training role, you’ll learn how to operate CNC machining centers to produce precision parts in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll work alongside experienced machinists as you develop the skills needed to set up machines, run production, and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys learning, working with machinery, and building a skilled trade in manufacturing. **Shifts Available:**_Must be able to complete training on the Day Shift before transitioning to assigned schedule._ * Shift 16: 3:00pm – 1:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential) * Shift 21: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday – Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential) **Starting Rate of Pay:** * $19.25 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.25 per hour. ### **What Your Day Looks Like** * Learn to set up and operate CNC machining centers according to job specifications * Run production parts with guidance from experienced machinists * Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met * Learn how to make basic machine adjustments (offsets, tool changes) under supervision * Monitor machine operation and support production flow * Follow work instructions, blueprints, and quality requirements **Requirements** * 6–12 months of manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred * Willingness to learn CNC machining and manufacturing processes * Basic math skills for measurements and part verification * Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints (training provided) * Strong attention to detail and focus on quality * Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with machinery * Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment **Physical Requirements** * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to lift and handle mat
