What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years manufacturing experience, High school diploma or equivalent, Ability to learn SAP system, Ability to learn FMS, Ability to learn RealSPC, Ability to learn Customer Profiles, Proficient in operating equipment, Proficient in troubleshooting equipment, Completion of 8-week training programs, High attention to detail, Basic mathematical skills, Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, Capability to provide toolbox, Capability to provide basic tools
Nice to Have
Experience in plastics manufacturing, Experience in one-step machinery, Experience in injection machinery
What You'll Do.
Operate one step equipment
Operate Nissei machinery
Perform quality checks
Document quality checks
Address equipment problems
Communicate equipment problems
Report issues to supervisors
Report issues to maintenance
Maintain machine setup sheets
Ensure machines operate within parameters
Maintain process logs
Maintain maintenance logs
Maintain machine reference logs
Enter daily production numbers
Record quality metrics
Utilize Levels Program
Cross-train on Nissei machines
Cross-train on related equipment
Document daily activities
Document equipment downtime
Maintain accurate records
Ensure boxes meet requirements
Ensure quality checks during packaging
Maintain packaging standards
Maintain packaging efficiency
Ensure proper material handling
Ensure proper material storage
Assist in preventive maintenance
Support maintenance team
Relay information to next shift
Relay information to relevant personnel
Facilitate seamless shift transitions
Maintain safe work environment
Maintain clean work environment
