The Department employs approximately 2,000 employees. **Description of Work** The State Farmers Market in Raleigh is a bustling, state-owned marketplace open seven days a week, 364 days a year. Home to year-round tenants and hundreds of growers from across NC and neighboring states, the Market offers fresh produce, plants, meats, and a wide variety of local agricultural goods. This position plays a key role in keeping the market beautiful, safe, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining the grounds through mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and spraying; ensuring top-tier cleanliness and sanitation; operating and maintaining equipment; performing building repairs; and supporting the overall safety and daily operations that make the market a welcoming place for all.
