Location: 5491 Timberlea Blvd. Mississauga, L4W 2T6 Shift: 7am - 3pm, Mon - Fri, weekends as needed About the Role As a Machine Operator, you will work within our Production and Maintenance Team to operate equipment, perform the automation and preventative maintenance programs at our facilities, and work to ensure operation downtime is kept to a minimum along with routine production activities. What you will be doing: Ensure all required efficiencies are achieved and maintained. Assist and give guidance to a team of helpers to ensure production runs are being completed on time, in full, while ensuring quality standards are being met. Work with our Food Safety and Sanitation teams to ensure all automated equipment is meeting regulatory standards. Operate machines to grind, extract, mix, blend, dry, freeze, cook or otherwise process food or beverage products. Perform pre and post-inspection of packaging equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals, in addition to machine calibration. Accurately set up equipment and ensure proper and safe operation. Complete required documentation and run production reports. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to ensure Production downtime is kept to a minimum. Continuously monitor and adjust the process based on upstream and downstream production needs. Responsible for adhering to Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Health and Safety, and HelloFresh policies and best practices to ensure a safe workplace and the highest possible product quality for our customers Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer. All Other duties as assigned. At a minimum, you have: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience operating machinery in a food processing, manufacturing or service industry Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent, or relevant
