What You'll Do.
Set up and operate machine tools
Interpret blueprints and sketches
Determine sequence of operations
Use machinist's hand tools
Use precision measuring instruments
Make shop computations
and scribe dimensions
Lay out stock for machining
Fit and assemble precision parts
Determine material and equipment required
Monitor and verify quality
Produce parts using Conventional or CNC mediums
Ensure product and/or process quality
Perform related functions to provide complete hardware
Operate multiple machines simultaneously
Perform routine minor machine maintenance
Replace machine filters
Change machine lightbulbs
Maintain lubrication/coolant levels
Move product within manufacturing work area
Complete transactions to move product
Support continuous flow of product
Train employees of same or lower classification
Assist employees of same or lower classification
Train to become MVP qualified
Complete other duties as required
