Summary We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator 1 to set up and operate power saws used to cut, slot, groove, miter, and trim aluminum extrusions according to work order specifications. This role may also support other areas of the plant as needed to meet production demands. Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 6:00 AM. Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Cut aluminum extrusions to specified dimensions Read, prioritize, and process work orders by due dates Lift, move, and stack aluminum pieces (up to 24 feet in length) Identify and work with various material profiles and shapes Maintain a clean and organized work area and material storage space Accurately complete picking and re-cut lists to support inventory control Remove and dispose of damaged materials Qualifications Basic computer skills Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately Strong attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75 lbs.) in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, and the need for close visual focus.
