Must Have
Must be 18 years of age or older, 2 years prior machine maintenance experience, mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment, Use of basic hand tools and power tools, Knowledge of machine tools and their use, Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs
Nice to Have
HS/GED, 3 years prior machine maintenance experience, Good written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, Mechanical aptitude, Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications
What You'll Do.
Repairs and maintains machinery
mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection
and evaluation to determine root cause of problems
Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts
Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary
Cleans and lubricates parts
orders replacement parts
inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to specifications
materials and/or equipment to meet special needs
Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues
