Full Job Description
Position Description: M365 and Exchange Engineer II Job Summary The Infrastructure Engineer II has support-level subject matter expertise in the full Microsoft 365 suite and Microsoft Exchange. This position provides technical expertise and customer support for the organizational collaboration platforms within the Microsoft 365 portfolio and Microsoft Exchange, including Teams, SharePoint and Email. Installs, supports, and maintains core collaboration solutions and mailflow along with dependent ecosystems such as application deployment, 3rd party integrations and security policy adherence. Evaluates and recommends improvements and upgrade cycles covering the entire M365 and Exchange environment. Performs technical analyses of supported solutions using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient operations. Provides escalation support for end user support teams for supported systems. Responsibilities Supports cloud/private infrastructure for global M365 and Exchange configuration management, security and 3rd party app integration. Provides lifecycle management such as patching for supported systems. Creates and maintains runbooks, documentation, and other knowledge artifacts. Establishes and maintains service definitions and standards for core services. Provides monitoring and alerting that produce actionable alerts. Performs incident response, keep-the-lights-on, and on-call responsibilities. Provides capacity planning and management. Provides auditable controls to ensure access to the systems are secure. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Requirements * Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience. * Typically requires 1-2+ years of professional experience, and strong proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job (primarily M365 admin role). * Moderate and continuously developing skills leveraging Exchange and M365 suite of Apps. * Strong understanding and knowledge of Active Directory and Ent
