What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Background in M&A, Background in Direct IT operational or process improvement, Background in IT management of change, Background in IT audit, General understanding of key business application design and/or implementation to include one or more of ERP, CRM, BI, Middleware, bespoke platform, eCommerce or any industry specific front office systems, General understanding of key infrastructure concepts and components, i. e. networks, data centres and cloud, Comfort around IT and operational analysis to quickly understand the core IT, operational and back-offices processes and their associated costs to the business, Experience in reviewing IT enabled performance improvements, IT enabled cost reduction plans and IT capital expenditure needs, Native or close to native verbal and written communication, Report writing - ability to write clear and concise reports based on detailed analysis in iterative mode with several 360-degree review rounds by DDV UK peers, Stakeholder management - ability to quickly develop rapport and build relationships (within DDV UK and end clients), Financial acumen - comfort around financial analysis and in understanding the drivers of financial information related to technology components, Analytics - ability to quickly process large amounts of information and draw out hypotheses and key messages, Resilience - self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, thrives under pressure and able to flex working hours to meet deadlines, Natural curiosity - ability to apply logic and problem solving to difficult business problems

Leading and/or delivering IT change transformation projects, Restructuring, business and/or process improvement expertise with focus on IT benefit realisation and maximising value of IT assets, Experience around IT operational analysis and understanding of IT impact on business processes, their associated costs and potential issues, as well as opportunities for improvement, Leading an IT function/ department or team, Financial and/or managerial accounting literacy, MBA or other professional qualification in business management or finance, Further foreign language skills (beyond English) at minimum proficient level, ITIL v3/4 Certifications e. g. **Job Description & Summary** About the team Delivering Deal Value (DDV) is a Sofia-based team that operates as part of the wider Deals practice within PwC Bulgaria and is planned to triple over the next few years. While based in Sofia, the team effectively functions as an extension of the DDV UK team in London. This means that all the DDV work is on UK and global deals, with predominantly mid- and large-cap international companies. DDV UK is a market leader in assisting both Corporate and Private Equity clients. Most of its work is in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) space, both pre- and post-deal. The M&A deals DDV UK works on range in size from £50m to over £10bn and the clients include some of the most well-known brands and businesses in the world. In the DDV team in Sofia, you will be aligned to the UK Technology team, which is a cross-sector team. The type of client projects you work on will vary based on the demand and the current deal market. Therefore, a high degree of flexibility is expected. **About the role** We help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and operational challenges. Our work is often complex and fast paced; at the same time, the opportunities for personal and career development are vast. You will be working alongside your UK colleagues on a range of projects across the different products we offer as a team, including: * _Carve out and divestment support_ – i.e. What does the business look like in a standalone state? What support and transition services will it need to function? How can we help our clients execute the separation and ensure a smooth Day 1? * _M &A Integration_ – i.e. How can our clients protect and grow value in an acquisition, what is the right level of integration to achieve this and what does an effectively run integration programme look like? Where are the synergies between two businesses and how well has the plan for capturing these synergies been compiled? * _Operationa
