What You'll Do.
Ensure proper unloading of trucks
Determine product is stacked to proper height
Assist with receiving process and paperwork
Train other team members
Mentor other team members
Remove product from trucks safely
Remove product from trucks efficiently
Check temperature of product
Report temperature discrepancies to supervisor
Hand-stack all floor loaded trucks appropriately
Wrap pallets to ensure stability
Wrap pallets for safe transport
Check condition of pallets
Exchange pallets where necessary
Promptly report damage
Report all inventory discrepancies to supervisor
Coordinate with receivers
Coordinate with reach truck operators
Ensure proper flow of inbound product
Handle product properly to minimize damage
Turn in complete paperwork
Turn in legible paperwork
Turn in accurate paperwork
Maintain cleanliness of dock
Maintain cleanliness of facility areas
Maintain repair of dock
Maintain repair of facility areas
Maintain all food safety standards
Maintain housekeeping standards
Maintain other applicable standards
Break down each load accordingly
Perform other duties as assigned
