Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** [LTA-RSE] ENGINEER, ROLLING STOCK & DEPOT ENGINEERING **[What you will be working on]** You will work with a team of engineers focusing on engineering aspects of Rolling Stock. The projects you will be working on include MRT trains for both new and existing lines.You will have the opportunities to work on developing technical specifications, reviewing design submissions from suppliers and exploring engineering initiatives to improve reliability, operation and maintenance of the Rolling Stock. You will also need to work closely with cross functional teams from different disciplines within LTA, as well as with railway operators and contractors to provide support to project teams at various stages. **[What we are looking for]** • Background knowledge of Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of data science/cybersecurity is a plus; • Strong interest in railway systems and eagerness to learn the engineering design of trains; • Self-motivated and resourceful with a positive working attitude; • Willingness to participate in site works (Singapore and overseas), including testing and commissioning activities, which will involve shift work (day and night shifts) on weekends and public holidays; • Good analytical, writing, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skill; • Those with relevant experience may be considered for senior position. As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
