Full Job Description
United Vein use eCW to update patient status throughout visit, promptly rooms patients, perform patient verification process, obtain and documents vital signs, take patient photos, and turn over patient rooms. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with UVVC’s Standards of Conduct as outlined in our Employee Handbook. Proactively identify areas of risk. Fill in as a Clinical Technologist on a temporary and limited basis, during critical staffing shortages. Maintains the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Current State or Multi-State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Minimum of two years of experience as a nurse in a patient care setting; Previous experience as a Clinical Lead strongly preferred. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association. Have mastery of standard operating procedures related to: Infection control practices, sterile technique, steam sterilizers (autoclaves), supply management, medication safety and preparation, patient and team safety initiatives and documentation electronic medical record. Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions. Expert computer skills and electronic medical records documentation. Ability to manage activities of the team and motivate others in a team environment. Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
