Your job is more than a job The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Women’s Services provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to women across the lifespan under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Independent Practitioner. This role supports clinical operations within women’s health clinics by delivering safe nursing care, assisting with procedures, administering medications and immunizations, ensuring accurate documentation, and promoting a safe and supportive care environment in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities ### Clinical Nursing Care * Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or licensed provider in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and organizational policy. * Measures, documents, and reports vital signs and clinical observations based on patient age and condition; promptly communicates abnormal findings to the appropriate provider. * Prepares patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity. * Assists providers during examinations and clinical procedures related to women’s health services. * Participates in clinic workflow, including patient intake, rooming, procedures, scheduling follow-up appointments, and facilitating patient discharge. * Performs non-complex nursing procedures within LPN scope and documented competency, such as simple wound care and dressing changes. * Administers medications and vaccinations via ordered routes in accordance with department policy and scope of practice. * Collects, prepares, and labels specimens for point-of-care testing and laboratory transport; performs point-of-care testing per Laboratory and organizational guidelines. * Monitors patients for signs and symptoms of abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions and reports concerns per policy. * Recognizes and responds to urgent or emergent situations following established emergency protocols. * Pr
