What You'll Do.
Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments
Monitors the medication and treatment cart
and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations
Makes daily round and audits
including shift report to ensure proper care
and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.
Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising
and helping them develop.
