What You'll Do.
Install fire alarm systems
Test fire alarm systems
Repair fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot system malfunctions
Troubleshoot false alarms
Program multiple types of systems
Test systems for proper operation
Consult with client on system
Provide recommendations for repair
Use blueprints to determine systems
Use building plans to determine systems
Install systems based on building layout
Service systems based on building layout
Attach electrical wires
Make electrical adjustments
Make electrical repairs
Replace malfunctioning hardware
Ensure systems comply with NEC
Ensure systems comply with NFPA
Explain system function to end users
Demonstrate system operation to end users

VSC Fire Access Control; CCTV; IP Cameras; Networking Infrastructure; Telecom; BDA (Bi-Directional Antenna systems); DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems); Audio/Video; Nurse Call; Area of Refuge; Intercom; Knowledge and proficiency with the following brands a plus; Crestron; Extron; Honeywell; Notifier; Gamewell FCI; Silent Knight; Fire Lite; Siemens; AutoCall/JCI; EST, Kidde Vigilant or RATH.
