What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of relevant working experience, Hands on experience in embedded systems development and debugging, Experience with software architecture and design concepts, Proven knowledge in C and assembly programming, Familiar with ARM and/or RISC-V instruction sets, Experience with Rust, Experience with low-level HW interactions, Familiar with software security (protection against logical, and ideally physical attacks), At least basic knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, Good communication skill in English, valid visa and work permit to work in Romania

We are looking for an outstanding Embedded Software Engineer to join the Platform Support group of the Secure Software IP team **Your Team** The Secure Software IP team is responsible for developing and testing state of the art secure cryptographic libraries protected against physical and logical attacks across all different NXP domains and business lines (payment, identification, mobile, IoT, Automotive, Edge Processing…) The main daily activities for a software architect in our team include: * Handling requirements management, software design, variant management, code quality and release coordination of the assigned projects * Interaction with the engineering teams as a technical expert to support the development process and with business users to define and scope the projects and support with integration topics **Your Responsibility:** * Drive the requirement management process for the assigned projects * Drive the architectural design / technical specification of the deliverable (including all related documentation and API definition) * Contribute to the (high-level) detailed design together with our domain experts * Review the important code changes (API impact, structural rework, …) * Monitor the code quality and other KPIs, and act on them to meet the targets * Align with the project managers and security & test architects on the project execution and coordination of the release process * Collaborate with the other architects in the team on common cross-project topics (requirements management process, s
