What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Two years of tractor/trailer operation experience, including city driving and backing up experience, Ability to read and follow an atlas map, Analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot mechanical problems with equipment, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Knowledge of federal DOT regulations, Ability to regularly and often lift approximately 40 lbs, Ability to load and unload large amounts of heavy food packages when picking up food orders, Ability to stand for long periods of time while making and serving pizza, Ability to sit for long periods of time while driving from location to location, Ability to travel overnight 75% of the time
What You'll Do.
Drive the Love Kitchen Truck
Manage franchise employees and volunteers
Maintain working order of Love Kitchen
Make and serve pizzas
Align vehicle compliance with DOT guidelines
Manage scheduled site servings
Manage serving site activity
Communicate with individuals at events
Physically make pizzas
Confirm scheduled servings
Contact franchisees and serving sites
Load food order onto truck
Take down Love Kitchen
Perform minor repairs
Keep accurate records
Track and submit expense reports
Monitor permit records
Obtain necessary permits
Prepare press releases
Coordinate with repair vendors
Assist with special requests
