## **Logistics Coordinator – Temperature-Controlled Supply - 5 Month Secondment/FTC** **Location: Macclesfield, UK** **Competitive salary + excellent benefits** At AstraZeneca, every medicine we deliver starts with a reliable, expertly managed supply chain. Our Clinical Manufacturing & Supply (CM&S) organisation ensures that investigational medicines reach patients participating in clinical trials across the world; safely, compliantly, and on time. Within CM&S, our **Clinical Logistics** team plays a meaningful role in handling global distribution activities, temperature‑controlled shipments, and the end‑to‑end logistics that keep our clinical supply chains moving. We’re now looking for a **Logistics Coordinator** to join our team and support the delivery of high‑quality, right‑first‑time clinical distribution operations. ## **What you’ll do** As part of the Clinical Logistics team and reporting to the Associate Director, you’ll support day‑to‑day logistics activities across a portfolio of clinical studies. Your work will help ensure medicines reach depots and investigator sites on time, in full, and under the accurate temperature conditions. ## You will: * Help ensure logistics lead times, First Subject In (FSI) dates and Right‑First‑Time targets are met * Provide Temperature excursion management for all studies in the Clinical Supply Chain * Contribute learning into improving the way that excursions are handled * Coordinate with external logistics partners to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule * Lead and respond to queries received through the excursion mailboxes * Contribute to operational performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, including owning smaller improvement projects * Support the development and maintenance of processes, tools, templates, mentorship and training materials * Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders * Build your own expertise in clinical logistics and temperature‑control
